"O nach robh mi thall 'sna beannan, le mo charaid coir 'sa rannan"
What beautiful lyrics, and how very-very appropriate.

Wow....My heart goes out to Martyn's family. I am a fan of Cuillin's music! I only was able to see the one time live, and that was in Little Rock, AR. for a half way to St Patty's Day celebration. I was blown away! So much so, that I named my first born son Cuillin Thomas. I love the name! I now live in the UK and hope to take Cuillin to see his mountain range.
Now that I have found this sight, and know there is more music out there I can't wait to hear more from Martyn.
Cuillin's [my son] favorite song is "Six Years In a Leaky Boat" That is one of mine as well :o
I thank the good Lord that he Blessed us with Martyn and his music. May he rest in peace.

My wife and I were introduced to Martyn's music while visiting Scotland in 1999. We loved it from the first moment we heard it. He was a visionary musician and he will be missed.

Unfortunately I explored the world of Martyn Bennett half a year after he passed away. What a genius!
I created a video clip in January this year. Probably someone of you is interested in it. Have fun!

A true gentle soul, with peace in his heart, music for our ears, and always a smile on his face! I miss him.

hi, just wanted to say Greetings from Oztralia, and congrats on the website.

I discovered Martyn from a backpacker bus driver in 2000 while on a Highlands tour, and bought Hardland the day after the trip finished. Unfortunately, while touring Asia recently, I was robbed, and Hardland went with it! It's only now that i'm back in Oz that i've had a chance to search again for it, only to find it has been discontinued! Please re-release Hardland, or if anyone has info on where a desperate Aussie boy can get a hold of a copy, please email me!! I have the cd sleeve and liner, but no cdee!

Just returned to Scotland recently and learned of Martyn's death 2 nights ago. We were very saddened. We will dance to his music till we die! We always have it playing full blast driving home as we cross the border and whenever we find ourselves in particularly spectacular landscapes in this amazing country of ours. He continues to stir hearts and make people smile. How many of us will be able to say that when we pass on?

Hi - I saw Martyn play at Glasgow City Hall, opening for Dan Ar Braz & l'Heritage des Celtes - and his performance blew me away. I've loved his music ever since, and I take every opportunity I can to tell people about him and his music. He was a true original, a visionary, a musical alchemist - unique.

A couple of questions:

1] are there any plans to repeat the Mull Grand Traverse this year? I'd be up for it...

2] are there any plans to release live recordings of Martyn and/or Cuillin Music?
